With six weeks to go until SCALE 2026, the international mental health and psychedelic medicine community is preparing to gather in Prague for a day focused on the future of novel mental health treatments.

Taking place on 13 October 2026 at the historic Ball Game Hall at Prague Castle, SCALE 2026 will bring together researchers, clinicians, industry leaders, policymakers, investors and other stakeholders from across the rapidly developing sector.

Following last year’s gathering, this year’s event will focus on the next stage of the field’s development — moving from scientific evidence towards clinical implementation and patient access.

From evidence to access

Psychedelic-assisted therapies and other novel approaches to mental health are attracting growing interest through clinical research and emerging treatment models.

As the evidence base develops, attention is increasingly turning to the practical challenges of bringing these treatments into healthcare.

Regulation, clinical training, treatment infrastructure, reimbursement and patient access are among the issues that will shape the next phase of the sector.

SCALE 2026 will bring together experts from across the ecosystem to explore these challenges and discuss how promising developments in research can translate into real-world healthcare.

Bringing the sector together

One of SCALE’s key aims is to connect different parts of the emerging mental health ecosystem.

Researchers and clinicians will join pharmaceutical and biotech companies, investors, policymakers and other industry stakeholders to discuss developments in the field and the challenges ahead.

The event provides an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas, build relationships and explore opportunities for collaboration as novel mental health treatments continue to develop.

With the sector moving beyond early-stage research, discussions around implementation and access are becoming increasingly important.

Six weeks to go

With six weeks remaining until SCALE 2026, organisers are encouraging members of the international community to review the programme, explore the speaker lineup and secure their place.
